Child Safety Standards

Last updated October 1, 2026

DebateiT, operated by Zirkle Works LLC, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page explains how we keep minors off DebateiT and what we do when something goes wrong.

DebateiT is 18+ only

No minors, everZero tolerance
DebateiT is a live video app for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and every user must pass an age check before their first debate. On Google Play, the app targets adults only and asks Google to block users it has identified as minors.

What is banned

The following are prohibited on DebateiT and lead to an immediate, permanent ban:

How to report a concern

Inside the app. Tap Report during a debate or right after it, and choose "They appear to be under 18" or "Nudity or sexual content". Add any details you can. Reports come straight to our team, and the other person is not notified.
By email. Write to [email protected] with "Child safety" in the subject line.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (911 in the US) first. You can also report child sexual exploitation directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

What we do

Debates on DebateiT are live and are never recorded or stored by us, so the report you file and its details are a key part of how we act. Please report anything that concerns you, even if you aren't sure.

Laws we follow

We comply with applicable child safety laws, including US federal laws on child sexual exploitation and the reporting duties of online service providers. We review these standards as DebateiT grows and the law changes.
